Privacy Policy
Effective October 17, 2026
Solaire Energys ("Solaire Energys", "we", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and the issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, how we use, share, store and protect it, and the rights you have over it.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you give us
- Contact and inquiry details you submit in our forms: full name, mobile number, email address, city or municipality, property type and address, electricity bill amount, your requirements, and any message you write.
- Documents you choose to upload, such as a photo or scan of an electricity bill or project document.
- Any information you give our staff directly, by phone, chat, email or in person during an assessment.
- If you apply for a job: your full name, email address, mobile number, city or municipality, your résumé (PDF or Word file) and any message you write in the application form.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Technical and attribution data: the page you landed on, the page you came from (referrer), campaign parameters (UTM), and Meta browser identifiers (fbp / fbc) — the identifiers only where you have accepted marketing cookies.
- A hashed (not raw) form of your IP address, and your browser's user agent string, used for spam prevention, rate-limiting and security.
- Standard web server logs (date, time, page requested, response status) kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.
2. Why we process your information, and our legal basis
- To perform a contract or take steps before one — to respond to your inquiry, schedule an ocular inspection, prepare a proposal, and deliver a signed project.
- Our legitimate interest — to manage our customer relationship, keep records of past and current clients, maintain the security of this website, and prevent fraud or abuse, balanced against your rights and reasonable expectations.
- Your consent — for marketing cookies and advertising measurement (Meta Pixel, Google Analytics / Google Ads). You may decline this and still use the whole site. Where consent is our basis, you may withdraw it at any time with effect going forward.
- Legal obligation — to keep records required by tax, accounting or other applicable Philippine law.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
This site uses strictly necessary cookies to operate (for example, to remember your cookie choice and to protect form submissions). Analytics and advertising cookies and pixels (Meta Pixel, Google Analytics) load only after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner; declining does not prevent you from using the site. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's cookies for this site and reloading the page, or through your browser's cookie settings.
4. Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Authorized Solaire Energys staff, limited to what their role requires, to respond to and work on your inquiry or project.
- Service providers who host our website, database, file storage, and send email or SMS on our behalf, under confidentiality and data processing obligations.
- Meta and Google, as advertising/analytics platforms, only if you accepted marketing cookies — in that case matching details such as your email and phone number are cryptographically hashed before being shared, and only conversion-style events (for example, that a request was submitted) are sent, never your message content.
- Government authorities or professional advisers, where required by law, to establish or defend a legal claim, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Solaire Energys, our clients or the public.
5. International transfers
Some of our service providers (for example, cloud hosting or storage providers) may process data outside the Philippines. Where this happens, we select providers that maintain security and confidentiality standards comparable to those required under Philippine law, and we take reasonable steps to ensure your information remains protected wherever it is processed.
6. How long we keep your information
We keep inquiry and client records only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, and to meet legal, accounting or reporting requirements. Inactive lead records are anonymized after a retention period set by the business (24 months by default from the date of last contact), unless a longer period is required by law, is necessary to resolve a dispute, or you have an ongoing project or warranty with us.
Job applications, including résumés, are kept for up to 12 months from the date you apply so we can consider you for current and upcoming openings. After that, your personal details and résumé are permanently removed. You can ask us to delete your application sooner at any time (see section 11).
7. How we protect your information
We apply organizational, physical and technical security measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold, including access limited to authorized personnel by role, encrypted connections (HTTPS) for data in transit, hashing of identifiers used for advertising matching, and regular review of who has access to our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction, and we have a process to respond to and, where required, report any data breach to the National Privacy Commission and affected individuals.
8. Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the right to:
- Be informed that your personal information will be, is being, or was processed, as this policy describes.
- Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or outdated personal information.
- Object to, or withdraw consent for, processing based on consent or legitimate interest, including direct marketing.
- Request erasure or blocking of your personal information where it is no longer necessary, unlawfully processed, or upon a valid withdrawal of consent, subject to our legal retention obligations.
- Data portability, to obtain a copy of your information in an electronic format, where applicable.
- Be indemnified for damages sustained due to inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, false, unlawfully obtained or unauthorized use of personal information.
- Lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below and, if you have one, quote your inquiry reference number. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
9. Children's privacy
This website is intended for property owners and decision-makers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. The "Effective" date above shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected on this page; please check back periodically.
